Seeds of Abundance: Limits, Loss, and Regeneration
March 6 – April 24, 2026 · Solo exhibition at Scalehouse Gallery, Bend, Oregon

Sculptural sound object; fallen eucalyptus and ponderosa pine branches, stripped of bark and carved; patinated steel
H 49″ × W 73″ × D 44″

This sculptural sound piece, made from hand-carved suspended wooden elements, invites gentle interaction. It was inspired by fallen ponderosa pine branches I collected. I designed the steel frame with my neighbor and friend Robert Andrews, who built and fabricated it.

This is the only work in the exhibition not entirely crafted in Bend, Oregon. I created it during my 2025 residency at the Lucas Artists Residency Program, Montalvo Arts Center, in Saratoga, California.

Part of my residency at Montalvo in 2025.
