This art integrated lesson into the 4th grade curriculum propose to the students to learn about the essential elements of the Spanish missions architecture through observation drawing and dry pastel technique. Each student studies a specific mission and at the end of the exercise the students can look at the series of the missions and have a positive critique concerning the art and review together all the different features of the California Missions.
